Championships

OVERVIEW

Throughout the week or month, real licensed championship will occurs. They come with their own set of rules in term of car requirements, such as category and performance.

PARTICIPATION

Drivers must purchase their entry to the championship for each daily events, and will have a limited number of opportunity per day to obtain the maximum trophies.

BALANCE OF PERFORMANCE

Cars from the same category may have different performances, providing a advantage to the cars with the highest PI from the category.

In order to allow a fair and balanced competition during a Championship, participating cars attributes will be balanced prior to entering a competition. Infinite Drive uses a similar mechanic as defined by the FIA in real GT competitions.

Temporary restrictions will be applied to the most performant cars of the group for the duration of the event or race. This restriction could takes multiple forms: Added car weight, restriction of some car attributes like the Acceleration.

REWARDS

During a Championship, drivers will need to rely solely on their skill to win the event. For this reason, the highest reward will include limited edition cars.
